Broodstock Center In India Supports Domestic Shrimp-Farming Industry

Summary: The continued expansion of shrimp farming in India is supported by a collaborative project among the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Aquaculture, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Oceanic Institute of Hawaii Pacific University. In biosecure breeding and production centers, the project produces specific-pathogen-free broodstock with good reproductive performance, fast growth and high survival.
